“Awaken the Power of Your Hips” – a dance movement offering that invites women to release, remember, and rise through the body. In the Akan language, Akwaba means “Welcome.” Through every offering, I welcome you back to yourself with care, grace, and deep remembrance.
My name is Amoin Chantal Kra. I am a licensed massage therapist, healer, and birthworker devoted to sacred, body-centered care. At Akwaba, LLC – Massage + Birth, I offer a welcoming space for all people to reconnect with their bodies, their breath, and their ancestral wisdom.
My work centers on prenatal and postpartum massage, fertility and womb care through Abdominal Therapy, and nurturing care for newborns and infants. I also provide massage for all bodies — not just birthing people — with deep respect for the individual healing journey.
Using techniques such as lymphatic drainage, cupping, stretching, and intuitive bodywork, each session is tailored to support nervous system regulation, emotional release, and holistic wellness. I work with high-quality, plant-based products and incorporate African healing wisdom into everything I do.
Beyond the table, I offer: • Healing baths and herbal ceremonies • Tea circles for women’s connection and rest • “GENTLE” Touch Therapy – a course I created to reclaim sacred, healing touch.
